Simple and Effective Preparation, Designed by Former Blue Coat Head Boy

Since I graduated from Oxford in 2019, I have tutored students for the Blue Coat test. I decided to put on a day-long workshop for my private students to all get together and do some practice papers. This first event had four students, all preparing for the Blue Coat test, and afterwards they all described how much they had learned at the workshop, and how much fun it was.

So we put on another one a few weeks later, and word had spread. This time, we had seven students. And then we put on another, and another, growing our cohort to fifteen students quickly. Out of these fifteen students, fourteen passed Phase 1 of the test, and all fourteen attended our follow-up events to prepare for Phase 2.

At each event, we refined our methods and materials to absolutely maximise the results. We saw all of our students transform dramatically, becoming more confident academically and applying themselves more than they ever had with 1:1 lessons alone, and parents told us how relieved they felt to have a clear plan.

So now, we are on a mission to help as many students as possible to pass the Blue Coat test and gain academic confidence like never before.
